The wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles County have left a significant impact on families, communities, and businesses. At Sovos, our hearts go out to everyone affected. As you navigate these challenging times, we remain committed to supporting all businesses in any way possible.
We understand that 1099 and W-2 reporting may not be top of mind for you in the wake of the wildfires. When possible, we strongly recommend you file an extension of time request with the IRS to ensure your team has the additional time needed to issue and file your tax forms. Taking this step can help your business stay compliant while focusing on the wellbeing of teams and community during these difficult times.
